She looks forward to helping support Tonic drive positive change in the industry.

What does your role at Tonic involve?

My role involves a multitude of things! Mainly, I support the Delivery Leads and wider team with sending booking agreements and invoices to ensure our training gets delivered. I also help keep our office running smoothly and complete a variety of general administration tasks such as bookings meeting, buying office supplies and maintaining Tonic’s records.

What’s your favourite thing about working at Tonic?

My favourite thing about Tonic is working with and meeting people throughout the Theatre, Dance and Opera industry. After completing my degree in Drama I knew this was where I wanted to be and I feel so lucky to be able to work with so many creative people and hear all about what they do! I also love how enthusiastic and positive everyone we come into contact is, and how engaged people are with our mission to drive positive change around EDI in arts and culture.

What book/podcast/documentary/etc inspires you the most?

Florence Given’s “Women Don’t Owe You Pretty” was a really freeing read for me. It explores what we can be if we stop viewing ourselves through the male gaze . “Invisible Women” by Caroline Criado-Perez was also a great read. It highlights the massive data gap there is for research on women, in a society systematically set up for men by men.

What 3 words would you use to describe Tonic?

Driven, Bold, Collaborative

Tonic – For greater equality, diversity and inclusion in the arts
