Training for individuals

Tonic Connects

Tonic is now offering training created specifically for individuals working in the arts who want to build knowledge and confidence around equality, diversity and inclusion.

For over a decade Tonic has delivered our hugely popular range of EDI training courses to a wide variety of arts organisations across the UK and beyond. We’ve trained thousands of staff at hundreds of dance, theatre, music, heritage and visual arts organisations of all shapes and sizes.

We’ll keep going with this. But we were also increasingly hearing from individuals in the arts – whether freelancers or people in salaried roles who simply want to undertake independent learning – asking “what have you got for us?”

So we now offer training for individuals. These will be adapted versions of our existing training courses and will be offered in affordable and bite sized chunks.

We have started off by running two of our most popular courses: Introduction to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, and Unconscious Bias.

If you would like to be notified when courses are next available to book, please sign up to our mailing list.

“It gave me a really solid framework and some actionable steps that I think will really help me in the work that I’m embarking on. I also liked that I got to interact with people from a range of organisations who do vastly different things as I think a lot of different perspectives were represented in the conversations we had. It’s just always lovely to interact with people in different arts organisations/freelancers in this kind of context!”
