Advance Symposiums

2014 and 2016

At the culmination of both iterations of our Advance programme we held a symposium to disseminate the findings of the work. Attended by around 200 leading figures from theatre and the wider performing arts each, the Advance Symposia were game-changing events that reframed the manner in which conversations around the situation for women in theatre was had. The symposia were hosted by our Advance academic partners, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, in their Embassy Theatre.
