Jo is a freelance consultant working with arts organisations to develop strategic, financial and fundraising resilience. Clients have included Young Vic, RTYDS, Stratford East and Complicité. Jo was previously Senior Manager, Dance & Touring at Arts Council England.

As an Executive Director, she has worked with Candoco Dance Company, an internationally renowned company of disabled and non-disabled dancers (2018 – 2021) and at the Gate Theatre, Notting Hill (2016 – 2018) where she worked with Artistic Directors Christopher Haydon and Ellen McDougall. 

Jo spent four years in the corporate development team the National Theatre and prior to this she worked for live music producers, Serious, working on London Jazz Festival and BT River of Music, a 2-day festival as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad. 

Jo is Fundraising Lead (volunteer role) for Footprints Baby Loss, Twin and Triplet support, a charity close to her heart. She is also proud trustee of Tonic Theatre and has previously sat on the Board of Brighton People’s Theatre (2018-2021), including a one-year term as interim Chair.
