New Pathways – Career Development and Training for Early Career Arts Workers in West Yorkshire

Following on from our 2024 collaboration with The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, we were thrilled to work on further research into young people building careers in arts administration. This time we collaborated with Leeds Playhouse as well as Central to focus on young people in West Yorkshire. The purpose of this research was to understand the needs and concerns of young people entering the arts today, especially in view of the challenges of recent years.

On the 10th of June 2025 we hosted an event at Leeds Playhouse to present our insights and launch a report. This included a breakout section to give attendees the chance to discuss and reflect, as well as a presentation of recommendations for employers.
