Tonic has a new Chair!

We’re thrilled to announce that Sarah Holmes will be Tonic’s new Chair of the Board of Trustees.

With over 40 years experience in executive positions in British theatres, Sarah is passionate about creating an industry that is inclusive, gives equal opportunity to all and celebrates diversity.

Sarah says “I am pleased to be joining Tonic as Chair of the Board of Trustees and feel privileged to be part of this important and dynamic mission. The work over the last 10 years under the leadership of Lucy Kerbel has been both challenging and inspirational to many. The next 10 years with Lucy, exploring new action initiatives, will see Tonic at the forefront of major workforce developments in the industry, changing the landscape for the better, forever.”

Tonic’s Director, Lucy Kerbel, says “Sarah understands first-hand what it takes to make practical change in the arts. I watched her walk the walk in her own leadership of the New Wolsey Theatre and was deeply inspired by her work at Ramps on the Moon. I’m so pleased she’ll be bringing her experience and expertise to Tonic and am very much looking forward to working alongside her.”
