About the Course

While much of a dancer’s time is devoted to their technique and physical practice, this workshop provides an opportunity to explore a different side of the life of a dancer. The activities in this interactive workshop are designed to raise students’ consciousness of how their approach to resilience can support their goal of achieving excellence. They will consider the role that shame and perfectionism can play in a dancer’s journey, and have space to explore the active steps they can take in building their resilience.

This session can be delivered either as an introduction to the topic (1.5hrs – 2hrs) or a more in-depth exploration (3hrs)
