The fifth Tonic Celebrates took place at The Other Palace, ‘the home of musicals in London’s off-West End’. We celebrated the achievements of women working in musical theatre, focusing on the particular joys, delights and challenges of the art form.

Phyllida Lloyd, shortly heading into rehearsals for Tina the Musical, sat down with Tonic’s Director Lucy Kerbel before the event to discuss her directing career.
