About the Course

Based on recent research on the group dynamics of performers, this training will give students space to explore the question: ‘what is my role in the co-creation of a collaborative, creative, dynamic working environment’? Participants will have the chance to discuss their personal and shared responsibility in creating a ‘bold space’ – one in which people feel safe and empowered to take risks and make bold choices. Participants will develop a shared language and collective understanding of how they want to move forward in their growth as a cohort. This workshop also explores the impact of micro-aggressions, promoting awareness and accountability in a collaborative environment.

What we’ll cover

  • The fundamental implications of working together (Intimacy, Emotional Vulnerability, Interdependence)
  • What is means to create a ‘bold space’ which emphasises safety and empowerment
  • Behaviours which can enable or disable a bold space
  • Micro-aggressions – what they are, and how they might impact a bold space
  • Space to consider how you might take areas of this learning away and action it moving forwards

You’ll come away with

  • A shared understanding of what a bold space looks like
  • Understanding of how to consciously cultivate a bold space
  • Understanding and awareness of what micro-aggressions are and their potential impacts
  • Space to consider how this learning can be put into practice moving forwards
