Tonic Celebrates

Celebrating the achievements of leading theatre practitioners

At each Tonic Celebrates event we bring together a group of remarkable women to talk about their careers, successes and inspirations. The inaugural Tonic Celebrates event took place at the Ambassadors Theatre in London’s West End. Our guests were lighting designer Paule Constable (Warhorse, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time), Tricycle Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham, and West End playwright Jessica Swale (Nell Gwyn, Blue Stockings). Read about the launch of Tonic Celebrates in What’s On Stage. Since then we have celebrated Shakespeare’s Globe Artistic Director Emma Rice, playwright and dramaturg on the Globe’s 2016 A Midsummer Night’s Dream Tanika Gupta, and Fight Directors on Globe production Imogen, Rachel Bown-Williams and Ruth Cooper-Brown.

Delve further into #TonicCelebrates with our series of interviews, in association with WhatsOnStage – Emma Rice, and Moira Buffini talk with Lucy Kerbel about their careers and work.
